Invisible WatermarkImages

Protect creator credit without placing anything over the image.

Invisible Watermark embeds a durable creator signal into image pixels and can recover it later after common resizing, format conversion, screenshots, centered crops, small rotations, and light visual edits. Add optional public Content Credentials and standard attribution metadata so compatible tools can read the creator without a separate Foldout profile.

Use Foldout only with images you own or have permission to mark. A recovered creator signal is attribution evidence, not independent legal proof of ownership.

What it does

Embed a resilient creator mark, export a separately named PNG, and inspect images later for recoverable attribution.

Protect attribution without a visible logo, stamp, or overlay.

Choose Balanced or Maximum Resilience for the delivery risk.

Recover marks after common resizing, re-export, screenshot, crop, rotation, blur, and color edits.

Add public Content Credentials, CAWG creator identity, standard author metadata, and a portable recovery sidecar.

Use a private portable creator profile when readable public attribution is not appropriate.

Keep embedding, detection, signing, and image processing on the Mac after the verified model download.

Embed, publish, recover

Keep creator credit attached without putting it over the work.

A fictional creator profile, public attribution layers, resilience controls, and a real recovered pixel mark prove the complete attribution workflow.

01

Attach readable creator credit without covering the artwork

Keep the creator profile, public Content Credential layers, and source image together while the visual itself remains free of logos and stamps.

02

Choose a signal designed for the edits the image will face

Use Maximum Resilience when screenshots, centered crops, re-exports, small rotations, or light visual edits are likely, with the limitations stated before export.

03

Recover the creator from the marked pixels later

Inspect a creator-marked copy with Deep screenshot scan and resolve the recovered signal to the fictional Alex Morgan profile, even when readable metadata is unavailable.

Why it belongs

Why Invisible Watermark earns a place in the toolbox.

The practical details that make this job faster, clearer, or safer than doing it by hand.

Credit stays out of the composition

The creator signal lives in the pixels, so artwork, photography, and client images remain visually unchanged instead of carrying a corner logo or diagonal stamp.

Public and private attribution are separate choices

Public attribution adds readable Content Credentials and standard metadata. Private mode embeds compact identifiers that another Foldout installation can resolve with the exported creator profile.

Recovery is designed for real handoffs

Maximum Resilience strengthens recovery through the edits images commonly receive in publishing workflows, including screenshots and centered crops.

The limits stay explicit

No invisible watermark is indestructible. Large removals, replacement of the marked region, or deliberate attacks can erase it, so Foldout presents it as durable attribution rather than legal proof of ownership.

How to use it

From opening the tool to saving the result.

  1. 01

Create or import the local creator profile.

  2. 02

Choose public attribution and the durability level.

  3. 03

Add one or more images and export creator-marked PNG copies.

  4. 04

Switch to Detect later to inspect an image, crop, or screenshot for attribution.

Questions

Before you try Invisible Watermark

Is the watermark visible?

No visible logo or text is placed over the image. Foldout changes the pixels subtly to carry the recovery signal.

Can other software see the creator?

When public attribution is enabled, compatible Content Credentials and metadata readers can inspect the readable creator fields. Private pixel marks require the matching Foldout creator profile.

Will it always survive every edit?

No. It is designed for common resizing, conversion, screenshots, centered crops, small rotations, and light edits, but large removals or deliberate attacks can destroy the signal.

Does it upload the image or creator identity?

No. After the verified resilience models are available, embedding, signing, detection, and image processing run locally on the Mac.
