Output CenterOutput Center

Turn every completed run into a useful next step.

Output Center keeps Foldout's recent work in one operational history instead of scattering completion messages across tools. See run totals, completed files, failures, and saved space; filter to successful, attention-needed, or undoable work; preview generated files; select and reveal deliverables; copy paths; inspect outputs; continue in a compatible tool; or return to the originating tool when a run needs another pass.

What it does

Review completed work, act on generated files, and recover from partial failures without retracing the original tool setup.

See recent runs, completed-file totals, failures, and saved space together.

Filter the history to succeeded, needs-attention, or undoable work.

Preview generated files and select several outputs for reveal or path copying.

Open, Quick Look, inspect, reveal, or copy a result directly from its job card.

Continue compatible outputs in another Foldout tool without finding them again.

Keep successful and failed items together when only part of a batch needs recovery.

From result to next action

Keep successful outputs and recovery details in one working history.

Metrics, filters, real deliverables, file actions, compatible next tools, and exact failure reasons remain attached to every recent run.

01

See every recent result at a glance

Runs, completed files, failures, and saved space stay visible beside filters for succeeded, attention-needed, and undoable work.

02

Open the deliverables, not just a completion message

Preview each generated image, select a group, reveal or copy paths, inspect the files, and continue directly into a compatible Foldout tool.

03

Find the exact file that needs attention

A partial archive review keeps the successful item, failed filename, concrete reason, and return-to-tool action together for recovery.

Why it belongs

Why Output Center earns a place in the toolbox.

The practical details that make this job faster, clearer, or safer than doing it by hand.

Completion becomes an output workspace

Image and document deliverables remain visible with thumbnails, filenames, locations, and direct file actions instead of disappearing behind a transient toast.

Partial failure keeps its context

Successful items remain accounted for while each failed source and concrete reason is surfaced beside a return-to-tool action.

The next tool is one action away

Compatible outputs can continue into inspection, conversion, annotation, PDF, or other Foldout workflows without another Finder search.

Questions

Before you try Output Center

Does clearing Output Center delete the generated files?

No. Clearing removes recent run history only; files already created or moved are not affected.

Can I continue an output in another tool?

Yes. Output Center suggests compatible Foldout tools for the generated file types.

What happens when only one file in a batch fails?

The successful outputs remain visible while the failed filename and reason are listed separately for review.
