Before you try Presentation Mode
Can I use Presentation Mode in an online meeting?
Yes. Share the display that contains the live overlays so viewers can see the spotlight, click rings, keystrokes, drawing, and zoom over the app you are explaining.
Can I use it while recording a tutorial?
Yes. The same live overlay engine is used by Cinematic Recorder, and Presentation Mode can also make interaction visible during another screen-recording workflow.
Are my keystrokes or cursor positions stored?
No. Foldout reads them live to draw the presentation aids and does not store or log them.
How do I leave Presentation Mode quickly?
Use the global Presentation Mode toggle or quickly press Escape twice to stop the session and remove its overlays.
Does it change the app or files underneath?
No. Presentation Mode draws temporary visual overlays above the screen; it does not edit the app, webpage, document, or file being shown.
