What it does

Organize, edit, sign, redact, inspect, protect, and export a PDF through one continuous draft.

Combine several PDFs and images into one page deck without writing an intermediate merge.

Reorder, rotate, duplicate, remove, select, and export pages while the live document stays visible.

Place text, dates, checkmarks, X marks, and a drawn or imported signature directly on a page.

Draw redaction regions that are flattened on export so covered content is removed rather than cosmetically hidden.

Apply a document-wide watermark and configurable page-number sequence from the same draft.

Extract embedded text or run local OCR on the selected page, then copy or save the result.

Compress the final document, strip metadata, and add password protection before export.

Export the full draft, selected pages, or rendered page images without modifying the source files.

A complete PDF workspace

Organize the pages, edit the content, then review the export.

Each mode keeps the real document in view while the relevant tools and final output choices stay close at hand.

01

Build one finished PDF from multiple sources

Add PDFs or images, then reorder, rotate, duplicate, remove, or export selected pages while the combined document remains visible.

02

Complete the form and place the signature in context

Add a name, date, approval mark, and drawn or imported signature directly on the page, then reposition each item before export.

03

Redactions that survive export

The Redact inspector states that hidden text is removed and keeps rasterization quality and box count visible beside the page.

04

Apply watermarks and page numbers across the document

Set watermark text, opacity, numbering format, start value, and position once, with the stamped page visible beside the controls.

05

Inspect document text before the next step

Extract selectable text or run OCR on the current page, review the result beside its source, and copy or save what you need.

06

Finish with deliberate delivery settings

Choose compression, metadata stripping, password protection, full or selected-page PDF export, or rendered page images only after the complete draft is ready.

Why it belongs

Why PDF Studio earns a place in the toolbox.

The practical details that make this job faster, clearer, or safer than doing it by hand.

One draft replaces a chain of temporary files

Move from merge and organization into signing, redaction, stamping, inspection, and export without saving and reopening the document between steps.

The page deck is the source of truth

Source files, page order, selection, preview, and page actions stay together, making a packet easy to verify before export.

Forms are completed in context

Text, dates, approval marks, and one saved signature are placed on the actual page and remain repositionable until the final PDF is written.

Redaction is an export decision, not a black rectangle

Foldout rasterizes redacted pages at the chosen quality so the covered content is removed from the exported page.

Inspection works for digital and scanned pages

Extract selectable PDF text when it exists or switch to local OCR for a scan, with the result attached to the selected page.

The final handoff has deliberate controls

Choose full or selected pages, PDF or images, compression, password protection, and metadata stripping only when the draft is ready.

Questions

Before you try PDF Studio

Does PDF Studio overwrite the original documents?

No. Every change remains in the draft until Foldout writes a new export.

Are redactions permanent in the exported PDF?

Yes. Redacted pages are flattened at the chosen DPI so the covered source content is not left selectable underneath.

Can I sign more than one page?

Yes. The saved signature can be placed where needed across the draft, alongside text, dates, checkmarks, and X marks.

Can it handle scanned PDFs?

Yes. Inspect can extract embedded text or run local OCR on the selected page.

Can I export only part of the document?

Yes. Export the full deck, selected pages, or selected pages as images.
